Frequently Asked Questions

Please note that mobility access is unfortunately limited on all Swan River vessels due to the age and design of the boats.

The vessels are among the largest cruising the Swan River and are very stable. The skippers are professionally and expertly trained to only take vessels out when it is safe to do so, and the ultimate decision rests with them. If they decide it is safe to run, then the standard Cancellation and Refund Policy applies.

Should the weather be extreme, and the cruise is unable to run safely, The Operator will advise passengers with as much notice as possible and offer to transfer to a different date or refund as applicable. To avoid any inconvenience to your plans, please ensure that you provide The Operator with your mobile contact at the time of booking so that they can contact you at short notice.

During winter, due to high tides and storm fronts, there may be occasions when the upstream vessels are unable to navigate under certain bridges. On these occasions, The Operator reserves the right to use alternative landing jetties and transport passengers by coach the short distance to their destination or cancel as necessary.

The vessels are fully licensed. No BYO (except water) is permitted.

The Operator is proudly NON-SMOKING for the health, comfort and well-being of all passengers, visitors and staff.

The dress code is smart casual. Covered footwear is preferred.

Check-in at the ticket counter at least 30 minutes prior to the cruise departure time. If the ticket office is closed, then you can check in with the boat crew.

All of the vessels have bathrooms onboard; however, they may not be accessible for those with limited mobility as they may have a small and narrow entry and are located downstairs.

The downstream vessels are able to take bikes and luggage on board. As the vessels are smaller, a limited amount of luggage and bikes can be taken on board so as to maintain passenger comfort. Please contact the friendly Reservations Team on (08) 9325 3341 for further information.
