The weather in San Francisco is variable, and the sides of the van are open, so dress accordingly. April and May, as well as September and October, tend to be the warmest months. June, July, and August are foggy and colder than you might expect. The rainy season runs from November through to March.

All year round, sunglasses and sunblock are recommended. Dress in layers that you can add or subtract over the course of the day. There are&nbsp;blankets and heavy jackets on the bus for your use as well.

On the bay cruise, you should dress in layers. Even on the hottest of days, San Francisco Bay can be cold. Wool socks are always nice, closed-toed shoes, hat. We provide you with a foul weather jacket and pants that help keep you warm. Most importantly, dress in layers.

Yes! You will get out of the bus to take photos at least at Aquatic Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, at the city view stop, and the stop for lunch. We may also get out for a quick neighbourhood walk or at other sites depending on guest interest on any given day.

Sometimes. The crew provides you with premium West Marine and Helly Hansen foul weather gear to keep you warm and dry. However, you still may get a little wet. Please leave your most expensive pair of suede or leather shoes at home.

The tour begins with pickup from selected San Francisco hotels, with transport onboard an open-sided vehicle that sits a maximum of 12 guests. After that, you&#39;ll leave behind the large coaches and journey off the regular tourist path with a flexible itinerary that reflects the goings-on in the city.

Explore street-art alleys in the Mission, mosaic-decorated stairways in the Sunset, the laid-back outdoor vibe of the Presidio, and the Beaux-Arts beauty of City Hall. See&nbsp;the famous &ldquo;Painted Ladies&rdquo; at Alamo Square, or even go down the actual crookedest street in San Francisco (it&rsquo;s not Lombard Street!)

The crew will&nbsp;outfit you with wet weather gear (to keep you warm and dry from the occasional splash), and then you will board their small vessel to explore under the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, and along the city front and then head back to the home port for a quick visit to the world-famous Pier 39 Sea Lions! No need for binoculars on this trip, you&#39;ll see it all up close!
