This operator, Byron Bay Sea Turtle School strive to promote environmental education, promote marine conservation and conduct scientific research to protect and save the loggerhead&nbsp;sea turtles from extinction.&nbsp; They are currently engaged in a scientific program in partnership with the NSW government to protect these turtles in the area. Furthermore, they are affiliated with Dolphin Research Australia and Australian Seabird &amp; Turtle Rescue and collaborate with their boats.

You&rsquo;ll want to wear a comfortable swimsuit and a wide-brimmed sun hat to keep yourself well-protected while you&rsquo;re snorkelling. You&rsquo;ll also need to make sure you properly apply factor 50 sunscreen (reef-safe sunscreen is highly encouraged) before hopping in the water.&nbsp;

All tours meet at our store, located at&nbsp;5 Marvell Street, Byron Bay. However, the better entry is through Fletcher Lane. You can find directions to the store by entering the address into Google Maps. Unfortunately, the tour operator does not offer pick-ups from accommodation or alternate meeting points.
