The whale watching season runs from approximately May to November each year. The humpback whales head north from May to August to calve, before returning south from August to November.&nbsp;

Every year over 40,000 humpback whales migrate along the east coast of Australia.&nbsp;During May-August, the whales travel north from their feeding grounds in Antarctica to the calm tropical waters of the north to have their calves. Then, around August, the whales begin to head south again with their calves to return to their southern feeding grounds.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

On this 2.5 hour tour, keep an eye out for humpback whales as they launch themselves out of the water, with&nbsp;humpback whales seeming to breach more frequently than other species. It&#39;s an incredible sight to see!

Being a genuinely wild adventure, it is possible to see a wide variety of marine animals, dolphins, minke whales, orcas and seals while on your humpback whale-watching cruise.&nbsp;

The boat will pick you up from the Barangaroo Wharf&nbsp;(directly out the front of Crown Tower Sydney)&nbsp; and cruise past the world-famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House before proceeding to sea to begin your incredible whale-watching encounter.

With only 30 passengers, this cruise offers a personal experience, and the knowledgeable staff will provide you with facts about the harbour &amp; its whaling history.

Passengers board and ride on our vessels at their own risk and in no circumstance other than the gross negligence of the skipper as proven by a court of law, will Sea Monkey Sailing Pty Ltd, its officers, or agents be held responsible for any accident, injury, loss or damage to person or property whilst embarking, traveling or disembarking from our vessels
